Customize User Permissions
☑️ Choose from over a dozen options and gain more flexibility in how your smrtPhone system is managed by your team.
smrtPhone is moving away from strict Admin/User Roles to a more flexible User Permissions approach.
To access User Permissions:
- Go to your Admin Panel
- Select "Users" from the submenu
- For the User you want to update, click the gear icon ⚙ next to their name
- User Permissions are on the Settings tab of the User Config page
Account Owners will have all possible Permissions. Each individual User can have varying, personalized permissions as granted by Account Owners and other Users who have access to modify User Settings.
What happens to current Administrators?
With this change, current clients who have what was previously called "Administrator Rights" will default to having the same capabilities, with specific User Permissions activated. Their access can be expanded or decreased, using this same User Permissions section.
